It's key to remember when picking the 2012 superbowl pick against the spread not to go with the information that is easily accessed. If that were the case, then the betting "joes" wouldn't lose their tails each season betting on this game. Remember the hype around Pittsburgh last year and "Big Ben" being one of the most clutch QB's to ever play the game? Over 70% of the betting action that day was behind the Steelers, and most of that was based on their Superbowl history and the inevitable talk of a "dynasty" leading up to Superbowl Sunday. Don't fall for the hype, get your Superbowl Pick against the spread for 2012.

The evidence above is merely a memory now and we must begin focusing on the task at hand, which is predicting Super Bowl XLVI for you this coming NFL season.
This year's Superbowl is going to be in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium. This is a great sports town with a lot of rich history. Not to mention this is one of the NFL SOTA's stadiums that has a retractable roof. Guaranteed good weather regardless of what's going on outside the stadium!
Interesting side-bit here for this year's Superbowl and one that will be talked about all 2011 season leading up to the Superbowl. This coming season in 2012, the Superbowl is hosted in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, home to the beloved Colts. Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne are certainly at a cross-roads in their career and have seen a slight decline the past 2 seasons. However, the Colts are almost a sure thing in this year's playoffs considering they have made 9 in a row and Peyton Manning still has the sharpest game in the NFL when it comes to QB's.
We will say this now, if the Colts can gain home-field advantage throughout the playoffs where they are above 70% in home playoff games (behind Peyton Manning), it will be tough for any AFC team to knock them off their perch. This could be the last season the Colts have a chance at actually making the Superbowl before players like Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Jeff Saturday, Dwight Freeney, Dallas Clark who are so integral to their success, start battling age. We are positive they will make a push in the playoffs so we will keep an eye out for this team to be a Superbowl contender in 2012.
